s a hard question. How do you write something about yourself, without sounding too pretentious? I'm a musician, more specifically a pianist. I also teach at an Arts School (SCAPA). I am moved by beauty, originality, integrity and innocence.
I'm a pianist and a teacher. I would say my influences are, (in no particular order) The Beatles...well duh?! Keith Emerson, (unworthy, unworthy) Jay Flippin (awesome, and just a great human being) and Rick Wakeman, (can I get an 'amen'?). Beethoven, Bach, Chopin and Mozart. Of course we cannot forget, Bill Evans, Dave Brubeck, Thelonious Monk, Chick Corea and Oscar Peterson. Yep, I think I've named the best of the best, when it comes to pianists. End of discussion, hear me now, believe me later, class dismissed.".
